MGL LLC ("we") runs Keypost, a service online stores use to text shoppers who left checkout. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Two kinds of people
- Merchants are the businesses that use Keypost and their staff.
- Shoppers are customers of those merchants. For shopper data, we act as a service provider following the merchant’s instructions, and the merchant’s own privacy policy also applies.
What we collect from merchants
- Name, work email and login details
- Store details and platform connection information
- Billing information, handled by our payment providers
- Settings, message templates, discounts and knowledge base entries
What we collect about shoppers
- Name, phone number, and the state or country used for quiet hours
- Cart and order details from the merchant’s store
- The notice record: the time, the phone number, the wording shown and where it was shown
- The content of text conversations, delivery status and opt-out status
How we use it
We use this information to send and manage text conversations about a shopper’s order, connect orders to those conversations, report results to the merchant, bill the merchant, keep the service secure and meet legal duties.
Mobile numbers
We do not sell mobile numbers, and we do not share them with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. We share them only with service providers that help deliver messages, under the limits in this policy. A number given to one merchant is not used for any other merchant.
Who we share information with
- The merchant whose store the shopper used
- Service providers for text delivery (Twilio), hosting, email and payments, and AI providers that draft replies for our agents to review and summarize conversations
- Tools a merchant connects, such as its helpdesk
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it, or in a sale of the business, under the same protections
How long we keep it
We keep conversations, cart snapshots and shopper contact details for the retention period shown in the merchant’s Trust Center, then delete or anonymize them. We keep opt-out records so that we can continue to honor them, and billing records for as long as accounting rules require.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to stop messages. To access, correct or delete your information, email support@keypost.solutions. If we hold your information for a merchant, we may pass your request to that merchant. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law.
Cookies
The Keypost app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. This website does not use advertising cookies.
Security and children
We use access controls and encryption in transit, but no system is perfectly secure. The service is not directed at children under 13.
